Remembrance

Today I want to introduce you to my best friend Tanja. Tanja is a 20 year old girl from Vasteras, Sweden. She's really funny in a special way, often mixes up english words, and says what's on her mind. She's a really bright happy person. She has a good fashion sense, many many hats, good color coordination, and creativity with her accessories.  Her hobbies are drawing, painting, dancing, and studying kanji (yes! everyday!).  She is a fun person to chat with and is always there for me whenever I feel helpless. I hope you all get the chance to meet her one day! When we walk around together Japanese people often mistake us as a couple, but we are just family! Here are a series of photos of Tanja I took with my T2 using T-MAX400 film.

The theme of the series below is nostalgia. The word nostalgia comes from the Greek compound of nostos (meaning "returning home") and algos (pain and ache). Basically, when you should look at them, I hope you get a melancholic happy feel.
