ELYSIUM.

Elysium

For those unfamiliar with Elysium.  In Greek mythology Elysium was the final resting place of souls of heroes and virtuous men.  Hence, I thought this double exposure would serve as a reflection of the two realms within Elysium: the Island of the Blessed and the Lethean Fields of Hades. For those who enjoy mythology please let me know your thoughts~

to the Elysian plain…where life is easiest for men. No snow is there, nor heavy storm, nor ever rain, but ever does Ocean send up blasts of the shrill-blowing West Wind that they may give cooling to men.
- Homer Odyssey (4.560-565)

PORTRA 400 VC taken on a Canon FTb. If anyone uses a analog SLR try some double exposures.

 More to come!
